I have always been artistic since I was a child. I was born in England, Indian by origin and now living here in Northern Ireland for the past 20 years. My journey as an artist has been a tapestry woven with diverse creative expressions, each thread reflecting a unique chapter of my life. From an early age, I found joy and connection through creative arts, exploring various forms that have shaped my artistic identity and purpose and I am delighted to be sharing this journey with you.

I hold a Bachelor’s Degree in Business and Management, and a Masters in Advertising and Marketing. Alongside 25 years of experience in the corporate world, I have passionately lived a creative life parallel to my career, developing many genres of artistic fields.

Early stages of my creative journey started as a self-taught henna artist and over the years have become a Certified International Natural Henna Artist and a hair and makeup artist, specifically for the Asian Market. I have been fortunate to travel both nationally and internationally, teaching henna and creative bespoke bridal looks for clients. I feel my in-depth knowledge of the bride’s requirements, and cultural expectations of different religious and traditional ceremonial practices makes this service unique to Northern Ireland.

Throughout the years I have hosted workshops in schools and community organisations and providing services to corporate clients like the Dubai Irish Open, Citibank, All States, Version One, Proof Point, NHS to name but a few. A highlight of this diverse experience includes participating in Belfast Alternative Fashion Week where I had the privilege of showcasing my creativity on the catwalk through makeup, hair, styling and body art.

I’ve always seeked new opportunities to share what I love. I was fortunate to work backstage at the International Filmfare Awards, doing hair and makeup for stars and background dancers.

My collective experiences have also taken me beyond borders. I have travelled to Los Angeles for Henna conferences and to Toronto where I taught the significance of symbolism in henna designs, sharing the cultural depth and artistry of this practice. With a level III qualification in Teaching I have taught henna, hair and makeup on 1-2-1 basis as well as in group settings. I have worked as key makeup artist at Ciara Daly Studios where I have delivered makeup mastery workshops.

The journey continues now as I venture into the big world of art as a visual artist, combining my years of henna art skills onto canvasses combining my fascination for abstract art and mandalas.

I am truly grateful and look forward to working with you.
